How do schools benefit?

Research has shown that teachers benefit when professional development is frequent, inclusive, personal, and around problems of practice. We know that professional development is more meaningful if the learning is deliberate and directly related to the context of everyday life in schools. The objective of our professional development is to collaboratively work to position every school with the capabilities to build individual and collaborative experiences around problems of practice and develop tools that will help sustain growth. By creating targeted professional development opportunities in each school, schools will have the ability to grow and build the capacity of individuals and school communities in order to sustain the work and make it their own.
