In this session educators will be introduced to the importance of understanding trauma and how it affects children. This session highlights how trauma can profoundly affect students academically, socio-emotionally, psychologically, and physiologically. School personnel will be exposed to strategies, classroom arrangements, and instructional approaches that can be used to create supportive and trauma sensitive classrooms.
